hello.. i have created a dcom activex exe component and a client app on my development machine(windows 2k server). i compiled the AXexe with the vbr & tlb and referenced it from my client app. i then copied the client app, tlb, and vbr over to another w2k server on my network and registered the vbr with clireg32. on my development machine i configured the AXexe with dcomcnfg and on the client machine i used dcomcnfg to point the component to my development machine. now i tried the client app and im getting an error stating that.. "The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable" my development machine is up and running so it is available, so im guessing i didnt configure something properly in dcomcnfg. please help!
