I have moved up from an Error 429 - ActiveX Component cannot be created to Error 458 - Variable uses an Automation Type not supported in VB when trying to run a recently packaged EXE developed in VB6.

I have Option explicit on so there are no undeclared Variables ... I changed all variables that were set to a null value to vbNull ....

Any other suggestions or help. The first was rememdied by reinstalling Office 97 because I use Access as a database ..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Joanne
