run-time error 429 with driver detective

i downloaded driver detective.every time i try to locate a driver i get the following: "run-time error 429.... active X cant create the object. this is the first time i have seen this one.

am running windows XP on a pentium 4.i do have zone alarm and norton anti-virus installed. thanks

Is Driver Detective suitable for XP? You could try changing compatibility mode if it is not.
