Hello,

I keep getting the error on the subject line whenever I try to transfer my query results to an existing Excel spreadsheet. This wasn't a problem before but now it's coming up everytime I execute it. I read on some messageboard that it might be caused by updates to Office XP, and I remember installing service pack #3 on my machine. Is this correct or is something else causing it? Is there a way to fix this problem as I've recreated the queries and it's giving me an "Unknown Jet" problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA!

I'm not sure how you're going about this. I typically use the TransferSpreadsheet method. Syntax looks like this:
DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet acExport, 8(Excel version), Query Name, Spreadsheet Path, Has field names? (boolean)
I use this method quite a bit and have never had a problem. One thing that might give you a problem is if you have differing versions of Access and Excel. For example, Access 2000 and Excel 2002 will throw a Jet SQL error.
Hope this helps
