I'm getting the following error message when I try to open a form with a large OLE object as a background image. It has always worked in the past, and I've compacted and repaired the data base, and reinstalled Access.

"There isn't enough memory to perform this operation. Close unneeded programs and try again"

Nothing else is open. I've also had problems with some forms just not opening, and VB error messages popping up on unrelated forms saying they couldn't find the form.

I'm stuck here. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

James:

Thanks for the reply. I'm getting "Server not found" when I go to the link.

The error messages continue to pile up. I had deleted several old forms, and it keeps telling me that these forms can't be found and when I go to debug, it takes me to other modules???

Thanks

Looking at the hyperlink, it wont work. It has been formatted & missed off the end of the url. If you copy the entire string between the brackets, it should work.

What you are describing looks like it could be pointing to a corrupt db. I have seen this before (rarely), whereby a db becomes corrupt with no solution to the problem... :(

Can you import all objects into a clean db?? James Goodman

Thanks for your reply.

I'll try the link again.

Its working again - not sure why. I had already fixed/compacted the database. There were some deleted forms with some code modules which had errors - I've corrected these. Maybe it was as simple as that.

Thanks again.
