Hello,

I hope someone can help me with advice. I need to make my application to run in startup in safe mode.
When windows is in safe mode it doesn't execute programs specified in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run or HKCU same path reg key.


Can someone please give me some instructions about running an application in startup when windows is in safe mode ?

There are probably several answers to this, and may be win-version specific, but one answer that should work regardless of version is to create a console app.

Safe mode is specifically designed to provide a stable minimalist environment for the user to fix any issues with the system. Trying to alter this environment is not a good idea IMO.

What exactly are you trying to achieve? Perhaps there's another solution we can provide.
