How can I do this, i have a lot of online content, i was going to change the code, to run off a cd-rom, i was thinking of doing D:/ in the coding but that wouldnt be practical because some people may not have the cd-rom on D, is there any setup install programs that will install files to a certain directory to work off of, say i change my coding to C:/Content/File Name, and i have the setup install to that directory and i can just run the exe, to start program, how can i do this?

Why not using relative pathnames instead of hardcoded absolute ones ?

Hope This Help, PH.

I agree with PHV, however, if you are dead set on coding paths to the CDRom, you can use WMI and the Win32_CDROMDrive class to determine its letter.
