run flash drive usb 2.0 under DOS

i have a 2GB flash drive and i am trying to use it to restore PQI images from it - it dont work at usb 2.0. I have found lots of pages on the net with solution using DUSE and Panasonic and Motto Hariu drivers and a boot disk image for the iomega drivers but i either get it hanging on assigning a drive letter or says ASPI manager not installed. Can anyone provide me with any other help

In BIOS setup, is DOS USB turned on? A little more info on your system would help.

yeap boot from USB is turned on - its an HP7100 i can set the drive as my primary hard drive i can boot to it and get the DOS prompt its just a case of getting it to work on USB 2.0 drivers
