I wish to place something inside a message to all our users, that includes a clickable object. When they click on this object, an external programme will start. This programme requires parameters and must be run from that location (as it has other data files that are stored in the same directory), so I cannot attch it and ask them to launch it. The best I can find so far, is to create a batch file with the command line in, attach that and have them launch this. This works, but doesn't look very professional. Hope somebody can help.

You can create a button with LotusScript. With LotusScript you create the batch file and run it. It is then only one press on the button for the users.

! They need ECL settings for writing to the OS and executing the batch.
