Run Excel Macros Using Automation

I have developed a library, XLMacrosLib, which is loaded automatically when Excel opens because it is installed in the XLStart directory. I would like to be able to trigger these macros using automation from Access and have found a number of procedures which will run a macro remotely for a defined Excel workbook. However, when the macro call fails and I look at the workbook the XLMacrosLib has not been automatically loaded. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
