Hi,

Is it possible to run a DTS package create in SQL Server 7 via MS Access? I have connected Access to my tables in SQL Server, and created forms for the user to run different reports. However I also want them to be able to run the DTS packages that update the tables with new data by attaching it to a button. Is this possible?
I've found some infromation on the DTSRun command but i'm not sure how to use it.
Thanks.

Another method may be to create Jobs out of the DTS packages in SQL Server. Then use the oSQL command(s) to execute the job by using the sp_start_job command in the MSDB DB. Take a look at BOL (Books OnLine) for info on oSQL as well as the sp_start_job.

Thanks

Is this the only way or does anybody know of any others?

Books OnLine, is by default, installed w/ SQL Server. It is not an online web site w/ SQL Server content.

Thanks
