Hi All,

I have an Excel program that I need to run from Access. At the moment I manually run the macros in excel then return to Access and import the data. Is there any way to run the macro from Access to alleviate the user from having to go back and forth between the programs?

Thanks!!!

weird. what are you doing in excel that cannot be done in access -thus not resolving the issue, but at least avoiding the question?

if you 'capture' foregin info for use in Ms. A. it is usually a good practice to import the 'sttuuufff' into a temporary holding thingggyyyyyy, do at least SOME v&V, and ONLY then actually let into a production dataset. So, using this (I know it is RADICALLY conservative, but ...) you could just as easily groom the info in the temp recordset/storage as muck about in Excel ...
