Hi all,

XP pro sp2 + all updates

I've been using Adaware, Spybot, and Trend Micro online,
am behind a 11b d link router.

I was wondering if I can get some advice on if it's
OK to run Adaware and Spybot at the same time, since they seem to work differently.

I did it a few times and they didn't seem to interfere with each other.

Just wonderin if someone wants to weigh in.

I know that Trend Micro housecall doesn't like to have
anything running when it's running.

thx,
fenix

no, only run one at a time as they may interfere with each other!

My experience with running both is that they will slow each other down horribly. Sometimes they will also report each other as holding file(s) open during the scan.

Safer and faster to run one at a time.
