Hi everybody:

I developed a local application to run fron the user PC now they change their mind and I need to run the aplication forom a server. De aplication have access to some word documents on one folder and the path was fix on the code. When I try to pull an exam now the code give an error because the code acn't find the folder where I put the word documents on the server. Is any ways that I can know from where computer the system is runing and change the path. Another think It could be map the folder where I put the application on the user computer and fix the letter on the code. I don't know please any sugestion?
Thanks in advance

Don't use drive letters, use a share name. If you don't know how to set up a share, you IT people can help you. It's really easy, right click on the folder you want to share, select Sharing and Security and follow the directions. Now, instead of using a drive letter to refer to your word document (i.e. c:\My Documents\MyWord.doc) you would use the share name (i.e. \\server\sharename\MyWord.Doc)
