RUMBA OBJECTX - Very Slow Connection

I am using RUMBA OBJECTX control in VB for my interface applications to Mainframe. When I try to establish connection to mainframe by .connect method of the rumbaobjectx, it take very long time to establish connection. But when i connect mainframe directly from RUMBA control by clicking "Connect" Option in RUmba's screen display menu, the connection is very very fast.

Our mainframe is located remotely and recently have been migrated to VOIP(Voice Over IP protocal). After this change, the slowness problem occurs.

Please help me to solve this.
