I am using Outlook 2007 on a WinXP Pro (SP2) machine at work to access email on an Exchange server. Whenever I go to TOOLS, then RULES AND ALERTS; Outlook will error out and close.
I am able to access my rules via Outlook 2003 on a terminal server (Windows 2000 Server) at work, and also using Outlook 2007 (setup to use HTTP over RPC) from my home laptop (WinXP Home).
I have completely deleted the email profile on the work PC, then recreated it. This did not help. I accessed Outlook via terminal server, turned off all rules, then tried accessing RULES AND ALERTS again on the work PC; but it still crashes.
Short of re-installing, does anyone have any ideas to try?
