I recently redesigned my MS outlook folder hierarchy. I now have just 4 folders in my Inbox. Each of these 4 folders has several sub-folders and sub-sub-folders beneath them. One of these 4 folders is just for record keeping...stuff I dont read and never look at, but if I need to it's there, and i know where to find it.
Problem is...anytime a message goes into any of these sub-folders the whole folder tree sprouts open...even though the message is 'marked as read'.
My question:
How can I have new messages with rules to sub-folders be directed to these subfolders without opening up the entire tree?
Question 2:
For the folders I do in fact use, and for messages that I have rules for but do keep as "unread", how can I keep these from sprouting open...while at the time, showing there are unread messages within?
