I'd like to be able to set up a rule that will forward all external messages I receive to another user. I haven't been able to accomplish this, using rules such as

forward where <from> includes "@"
forward where <from> does not include "internaldomain.com"

Basically, I don't want to forward internal emails, just emails coming into me from outside the company.

Any ideas?

Try forward where to contains <<your internet email address>>

You can set your rule to look at "View Name", which should say "Internet" for all mail passing thru the GWIA.

On my system the View Name value is either "Mail" or "Internet" and I think you can set your condition based on either.

Hope this helps

I'm a groupwise newbie (6.5) and wondered if emails sent internally were forwarded out to the internet via smtp and then right back internally, or if groupwise new just to send them internally from the start?
