Rule 1: cannot install traditional policy on community memebers

I'm setting up VPN on Checkpoint NG on a Nokia box running IPSO 3.4.2. I've defined the community and have chosen Simplified Mode. It should be noted that I have just upgraded Checkpoint from 4.1 SP5 (including the Rulebase). I've setup a dummy Desktop Policy but receive the following error when installing the policy:

Rule 1: cannot install traditional policy on community memebers

Any suggestions?

If in the VPN you have added your firewall. Remove it.
The policy then installs.
