We have a multisite call center with over 1500 RTU's. There are several groups using the RTU's that all operate independent and have their own budgets. I am trying to free up RTU's by auditing the utilization of the system and each group.

Issues: The station name does not always match the user name. Some sites used to use hotelling but stopped and never renamed the stations. Other sites had named stations but ignored the names and reused them for new and different users. Some sites use stations and names properly but without a standard naming convention.

I initially planned on using the Room field for our employee id number and the Jack for the group the user belongs too however I found through testing that when you TTI to move a station, something that is regularly done in all my sites, the Room and Jack fields are erased.

What suggestions do you have or what have you done, to keep track of your RTU's, audit to remove old RTU's and properly charge groups for their utilization of RTU's?

Create new CORs for each group, i.e. 1, 11, 21, 31, etc., using the same permissions & features. You can run reports in ASA, export them to Excel and sort on the COR.

If you have less than 20 groups, you can use the "set color" field. It does not change with TTI. "change site-data" and go to page 4 to overwrite the colors with dept #'s.
