After the automatic update from MS installed today's blessing, and after the reboot, I got this error window pop up: "RTHDCPL.EXE - Illegal System DLL Relocation
The system DLL user 32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\systeme32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."

Eh? On another forum I found a user who installed a patch from MS (KB935448) that is supposed to correct this mess, but some other posters replied that it does not work, or makes things worse. Anybody know what is going on with this?

RealTek have released updated drivers (available from: which means you shouldn't have an issue with MS' 2 latest critical updates... so won't have to install Microsoft's KB935448 hotfix.

We have hundreds of DC7600's at work (which use the RealTek HD Audio chipset) so I'll be testing the updated drivers later today.

Hope this info helps...
