In one of our applications, there is a field in which users can use an RTF editor to format lengthy comments/narratives. They have the option of using bold, italics, colors, etc. The field supports all standard RTF format functions.

When I insert the field into a report, I want MOST of the formatting to apply (bold for example) except that I want a specific font name (Arial) and a specific font size (12) regardless of what was used in field. I know it seems that I want my cake, with chocolate frosting, and I want to eat it too.... Is there any option?

The only way I have done this before is to cheat, by breaking off the RTF string containing font instructions and replace with your required RTF string.

Field must be less than 60000 characters.

Your string and remining RTF string can then be concatenated in a formula

Hmmm... I'll see if I can work with that. Thanks!
