RTF display on a Access Report

I have a MS RTF activex on a form that displays fine. The data is stored in a memo field in a table with the associated format coding. How do I display the contents of the field on a report with the formatting applied. A text box linked to the field shows the format coding and text and a ms RTF control linked to the field returns property can not be set.
