RTC Error

Hi All,

I have a KX-TDA15 PBX and most of it works as expected however I am struggling to get the digital phones to show the correct date and time. When I go into date and time using the maintenance console and then the actual date and time I get an RTC error. Any ideas what this may be and how I get around it?

if you have isdn it should update its self, check your pc time and date format may not match. never saw RTC error before, dont know what it could be.

Hi obtsystems, thanks for the reply. We removed the ISDN card and put a 2 port analogue trunk card in its place.
The error that comes up is E033402 RTC Reading Error, and that comes up every time I try and go into the date and time settings...
Co-incidentally the digital screens all show random characters, and the alarm light comes on every time we boot the PBX up and when I check the log it talks about the LCD display file missing from the system, do you know where I can get a copy and could this be related?

What ver prog tool and did you install it as E
You will need latest tool to upgrade

Hi, yes I did install it as E,

In the PC maintenance console about settings it says

GUI V5.0.12
API V5.0.12

is me installing it as e caused as problem (as I remember you saying last week that the e was to do with ISDN and we have taken the isdn out of it)
