rt. click on images..dialog box says "untitled" save as ".bmp&quo

All of the sudden, when I try to save an image by right clicking it, instead of getting a dialog that has the name of the image and the type of file (such as jpeg, etc.) it comes up with "untitled" in the filename field and then ".bmp" in the "save as type" field.

It never did this before, so I know I must have changed something without realizing it.

Try using System Restore to go back to a restore point when everything worked as you liked.
