More issues on another new installation, this has not been my week...
I've got the newer 7754 terms and c730 orderpoints. Ran the latest version of orderpoint 13.1.1.33. Orderpoint didn't install when I ran ral so I manually installed on the terms. It is enabled in ral.
So far so good. C730 was detected and ran fine. While configuring the site I had to do several refreshes and reboots. During a couple of reboots the RSSengine would fail to start and nothing was displayed on the orderpoint screen. On the next reboot rss started fine and orderpoint was working correctly. I would say 1/6 times rss isn't starting when the terminal boots and I either need to manually start it or reboot the terminal.
Now here's where it gets interesting. My partner working on a completely separate install is experiencing the same issues. Same term and orderpoint models 1/6 tims
I've had this happen occasionally where rssengine won't start but it's something like 1/200 restarts.

Attached is a relevenant piece of the log from one of the terms in case anyone wants to take a looksie.

I think you have to change the startup batch file to something like
rssload.exe
rssengine.exe

add:

START C:\Bootdrv\Aloha\BIN\RSSEngine.EXE

to your IBERCFG.BAT on each terminal

C:\Bootdrv\Aloha\BIN\RSSLoad.exe
START C:\Bootdrv\Aloha\BIN\IBERQS.EXE
START C:\Bootdrv\Aloha\BIN\RSSEngine.EXE

correction the above is the correct order it is supposed to be.

It loads the RSS then starts Aloha then after that it starts the engine

Failed to start again but only on 1 terminal out of 3, term1 was master but when I forced term2 to be master term1's orderpoint didn't come up. Wouldn't start when I manually ran rssengine. Error log showed there were issues with images stored in the bin. Copied the bin over from one of the terminals that was working.
Verified that my batch file was set up per PosTech's recommendation. Did a reboot and the orderpoint was working.
Don't really know why the BMP folder wasn't copied properly.
Ran a bunch of reboots to make sure it'd work. Fingers crossed that I don't have more issues; fortunately, the installation got delayed so I've still got some time to keep an eye on it in my lab.

Thought I'd update in case anybody has similar issues.
