RSS feed tracking

Hi,

Does anyone here have any suggestions on how to track
hits on .xml files? There are dozens of ways to track
hits on .html and other "normal" web pages but I'm a
bit stumped on this.

I want to be able to produce a report on how many times
RSS feeds are accessed on my server.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction. I'm
getting pretty burned out from my efforts to RTFM about
XML.
