I've got a MICS customer with RSI Shadow call accounting software whose lost their manuals. Talking to RSI, it sound like I'll have to buy a whole new package to get manuals from them...

I don't recall which revision they're running on, but any manual is better than none. I've got to make some extensive changes tomorrow, and I haven't worked with the sw since I installed it 4 years ago.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Forget it. I got it done without the manual. Just like riding a bike, it all came back. (Unusual for me, but I'll take a stroke of luck any day.)

Good job, I actually tried last night or early this morning but no luck....at least I found out they were in the next city over from me (Toronto).

RikRodgers...how did you get this software to work on your MICS? Is additional hardware, etc required?

Yeah, the sw installs on a pc, and you hook it up to an SMDR unit via a serial cable.

Rik,
I've got manuals on CD for that....the State of Illinois uses a bunch of those here. I wouldn't know how to get them to you, though.

Thanks, gforce9. The general maintenence on that software turned out to be pretty simple, once I figured out which file to modify. The customer even seemed to understand when I showed her how to make changes herself.

It's a pretty old revision, running on a Win95 machine, and they want to upgrade that PC. They're going to need a new software package, anyway.

Thanks, though, for the offer.
