RS6000 F40 Server boot failure

RS6000 7025 F40 Server AIX 4.33
Current it does not boot pass the loading software screen.
The last codes it splits out are 581 and the C33. I only have a monitior and keyboard connected to it. Problem seem to have occurred after a power loss in the building.
What can i do? And where can i get Diagnostic cd.

581 is displayed while configuring TCP/IP. If you have a network issue or DNS issue you will hang at that prompt for a while and then continue to full bootup eventually. Are you letting the server hang there long enough or just thinking the boot failed and rebooting it again?

c33 is informational and it means the console is a TTY.

I let it go though 581 which i understand because the network DNS and Gateway has changed and then it goes to c33. After c33 the led goes blank and then it hangs for hours...

After C33 it goes blank? ==> it should be running with login prompt on the console (either CDE or plain login) and tcpip up and running.

Sounds like you've got a problem with your network adapter card or other network hardware - hence the "semi-hang" at 581...

possibly your aix console is a graphic device not a tty
