What is a good converter to get. I have centralized Voice Mail and need to have a GAC terminal at location 5 miles away and I have access to the companies network at that location. Whould this work with a VT520?

BlackBox makes some, but they are like 8-16 port remote console ports; a bit pricey just for one piece of equipment... -Matt

no, not without a short haul modem, i would buy a serial server for less then 100 and telnet to the serial port

The Lantronix is the way to go. I have seen it, used it and it works fine from anywhere on the network, and it does cost less than $100.00
