Hi,

Not too sure if this is the right forum, if not could somebody advise?

What I am trying to do is transfer a text file from a data logger into Access VBA. I have some code I used in the past which used the MSCOMM control to recieve data from a bar code scanner, but obviously the amount of data was small.

Does anybody know if the process would be the same? Or does anybody have any code that could help?

There is quite a bit on barcodes in thes fora. It is also likely that the scanner company will have a good deal on information on their site.
