recently at work we purchase a few of these machine to test. As usual i use the standalone diag cd. But after the machine been booted up on the screen, the terminal ibm3151 seem like it frooze and the diag screen doesnt show up. To get around this i've installed AIX 5.1 onto the hard drive, Can any1 tell me why the standalone diag screen wont boot up on the screen ? would it have to do with the MCH HCM or what ever serial port thats on the back of the machine ?
