I'm trying to use the map tool to identify clients of a large social sevices agency in NYC who live in the NY hurricane evacuation zones. I have shape files for the flood zones as one layer, but the client location data is in Oracle, and in a format known as the "State Plane Coordinate (SPC) system" - New York-Long Island zone, NAD 83. This is a geometric coordinate system that antedates both SQL Server and Oracle's spatial datatypes.

Does anyone have an idea of how to use this data? Does it have to be converted to SQL Server spatial?

Any suggestions would be appreciated
