I have some reports that I will need to schedule on a quarterly, weekly, or daily basis and deliver them as PDF files via email to various personnel. I have never attempted to schedule a report and am looking for some guidance on how difficult it is to specify dates or other variable parameters when creating the schedules. For most of the dates I guess I could have the stored proc figure out what the proper dates should be. If it gets too complicated maybe I can create a .net app to handle the various parameters and the scheduling. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Not that helpful but 2005 allows you to use data driven subscriptions which allow for table values to be used as parameters for these kind of things - RS2000 doesn;t have that facility afaik (well I havn't found it yet!)

you may well have to go down the .NET app route

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names and all are different colours but they all live in the same box.
