I have a small W2K network with assigned IP addresses. I am trying to get VPN going and to begin the process I have tried to start the Routing and Remote Access implementation. When I access this MMC and right click the server, I do not get the "configure and enable routing and remote access". I found that the service was not started. When I start the service, I loose many of my shared drives from the server. The server that I am trying to start the RRAS service on contains the AD. I have tried this on another server and it does not behave this way. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Owen
