Hi,

I'm running RRAS on a Windows 2000 SP4 box. I have been asked if there is any way to monitor who is log in and for how long. We would also like to see if the users are idle or working. I have been able to do this on other jobs through Citrix but not sure with Micorsoft's RRAS.

Any ideas??

Thanks.......

From memory, i don't think so. You can do so in real-time using the RRAS MMC, and you can also look at who logged on and when (and logged off) using the Event Viewer.

For better auditing, try out the IAS application that comes with Windows. I haven't tried it myself, but it's for auditing this sort of thing. (RADIUS - think it's "Access, Authentication, Auditing" or something similar)

Should do the job and it's with Windows. (Thus free!)
