RRAS WAN/LAN Issue

Hi, its been a while since I have posted here. I had an SBS 2003 issue that is giving me fits, and cant seem to find any resolution.

After the updates last Tuesday, when my server came back up, we had lost all LAN connectivity?
Started poking around and got an ARP error, so used netsh and cleared the ARP but still discovered some issues. (not even sure if this has much to do with issue)

So I disabled the RRAS and BAM my LAN cam back, all logins working net resources available..... Now why did that happen, cest la vie... But with RRAS disabled of course WAN wont work no internet, no outside resources....

So after going in circles for a bit, I rolled back all the updates from last week, and re-configured my internet and checked all the local resources, permissions shares and so on, everything seemed fine... but still same issue..

No RRAS LAN works, RRAS no LAN..... any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using ISA server? If not, then I suggest switching to a single-NIC solution with RRAS turned off.

Actually, I see from your thread on another forum that the problem went away on its own... I'm not sure what it had to do with ARP, but perhaps a timeout of some cached entries on your switch had something to do with it.

Yes I am using ISA sorry I am waist deep in 8 too many projects and forgot about my post here. My bad I always like to place a follow up.
And yes it cleared its self up (actually I rolled back all the most recent updates, and feel that might have been the magic bullet.) Cest la vie, to many things and to little time. I do wish I knew what had caused that booger. Guess I will just have to keep wondering, lol.
