W2K3 R2 X64 Dell Poweredge 2900.

We have a single dial up line connected to this server. When we activate RRAS, after about 24 hours, network browsing becomes either very slow or unusable (e.g-Network Neighborhood>Entire Network>Microsoft Widows Network>Domain name). We do not have WINS on our network. Both of our DCs are Server 2008.

I have noticed that RRAS changes the netbios node type from "Unknown" to "Broadcast" and "IP Routing Enabled" from "No" to "Yes". As soon as I disable RRAS, node type goes back to "Unknown" and "IP Routing Enabled" goes to "No". And then, network browsing returns to normal.

We have a non-segmented LAN.

Anyone seen this or have any ideas?

Thanks,
Walt
