Hi,

Using CE10 Embedded and CR10 on Win 2003 Server.

This is the 1st install I've tried on 2003 Server. Usually don't have much of a problem with CE/CR.

With this install all reports (delivered via ASP either as PDF or ActiveX Viewer) are displayed differently than viewed in the Designer. The fonts are all different and the top of the page is cut off when viewed as a PDF. All RPT's preview fine in the designer. There is a default printer set up on the server.

I've never had this issue with Win2k or even XP Pro installs using the exact same RPT's and ASP and so on.

I've searched BO's KB to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
Sue

Hi,
Be sure the same fonts ( all of the ones used in the reports) are installed on the CE server.
Also, it helps to have the same printer drivers available to the CE server as are on the Designer's PC..

Turkbear,

Thanks for the reply. CE/CR and the default printer are all installed on the same Windows 2003 server. Everything is one one server.

I will double check the installed fonts.

The only thing I can think of that is different on this install opposed to previous installs I've done is that IIS was installed after CE/CR was installed. Maybe that screwed something up?

Thanks.

Found the problem. Posting incase somebody else has the same issue at some point. File/Printer Setup/ select no printer. Fixed my problems...
