RprtNt:Defaut date prompt but needs the flexibility to use other dates

hi all.. I've been asked to help out with a reportnet project after about a year away from RN, so any help is appreciated.... I've been asked to set a default date prompt from within a Period Time table based on a tag of 'current_fin'... this aligns with a specific financial date period... The problem i have is that whilst this should be the default choice... Other date periods should be available as prompts to be selected as well.

For example
BATCH_LABEL DATE (string)
Batch_sls 200607
Batch_sls 200606
Batch_sls 200605
current_fin 200606
