We got these msgs sometime, too.
Seems that the ACD wants to send RPN to aspect via modem and got an error.
Perhaps Aspect has diasabled the dialin-account on their RPN-server, too.
Check modem connection, phoneline, rs232 cabling.
Sometimes the NT RAS-service freezes, but that should be corrected by the reboot.
Look in logfiles, why the ACD wants to send RPN. Btw: if you reboot the ACD, it tries to inform Aspect about that via RPN, too...
I just read the release notes for V9.1. There is a known defect created for RAS losing the ability to communicate. The temporary solution is to restart RAS. You shouldn't have to reboot the ACD.
The error messages will also occur if the destination modem is busy. Also, if someone is dialed into the system and the outgoing modem is not available it will report this error.
Your support vendor can check the site configuration and test to ensure that RPN is working correctly on your system.
