I'm trying to do a rpm install on my Freebsd server and I keep getting this error message.

rpm: no packages given for install

I have the packages. My os is 10.0 and I'm running RPM version 3.0.3

Thanks,

Zum

There is no FreeBSD 10.0 version, and RPM's is not part of the native FreeBSD system.

Issue a `uname -a` to determine your FreeBSD version.

What exactly do you wish to install ? I'd advise you to look at the ports collection, unless you really need something running under linux emulation.

Thanks for the response. For the version on Freebsd I must of had a brain fart. I meant version 4.10

Any I did get RPM's to work. I had transfered over the .rpm files wrong.

Thanks.
