RPC server is unavailable

When i run my module i get an error:-
'run time error -2147023174(800706ba)
automation error
the RPC server is unavailable'

then i run it again and its fine and works perfectly. then i try it again and i get the error then oits fine on the next go.
Does anyone know whats happening?
