I was mounting an filesistem from another OpenServer trhoug the internet, and it works well.
Like :
mount -f NFS 111.111.111:/shared /myshared

But the problem is now. When I was umounted the filesystem from my SCO, the system are all the time, every minute, showing the message :
clnttcp_create: RPC : Port mapper failure - RPC : Time out
statd: cannot talk to statd at 111.111.111.111

How can I solve this ?.

Thank you. Fonso.

If the system continues to try to contact another IP address after you have removed that IP address from use, go to '/etc/sm' and see if that IP address is in a file named 'recover'. If so, set that file size to zero; ie '> recover'.

Ok. This works fine !

Thank you. Fonso.
