rpc over http issue - one user

I have a single user who is having issues with rpc over http.
send and receive stalls for as long as 15 minutes sometimes.

I did find he had windows live outlook hotmail connector installed, removed that, but no change.

I did the trick where you click on the oultook icon while holding CTGL down to go to Connection Status, and when I clicked on reconnect it would succesfully send the email. and I see really high response times on directory, much more than any other.

I normally would just delete his outlook profile and set it back up, but we are working away from home office, and he has 4 gig of email (ouch).

any suggestions?

You can still delete his Outlook Profile, but save his OST file with all his mail. When you reconfigure his profile, just drop the OST file back over what gets newly created. Do this before he syncs for the first time.
