rpc.metad: Hangup

I get the following in my /var/adm/messages
Jun 21 13:14:58 xxxx inetd[261]: [ID 858011 daemon.warning] /usr/opt/SUNWmd/sbin/rpc.metad: Hangup

How do I fix this problem
