rpc error, can't decode result

Trying to do a save-set recover, I get message "rpc error, can't decode result". I am using NT4 SP6a Networker 6.1 as a legato server, restoring to a Netware 5.1 using Networker 4.21 client over a firewall setup. Both server can ping each other. Any idea or help be appreciated.
