rowid problem

hi guys....
i combine batch delete and edit function in the same page . the problem is when i want to edit the record base on rowid , i can;t do that because all the rowid is passed to the next form, not only the rowid for the selected record. have someone encounter this type of error b4. Please help.

If you are looking for a way to know what record someone wishes to edit, there's a couple of different ways you could handle it --
1 -- make the record headers links that call a javascript function and pass arguments to the function that would either set a hidden form field or pass the rowid in question via querystring where you could pick it up on the next page, and then submit --
2 -- have checkboxes that someone would check, that were next to the record that they wish to edit, and evaluate which box was checked on the following page to find out what record to deal with --

There are certainly more ways to do it. If you listed some more details, then we could probably work out what would be the best solution for your situation --
