Row Totals in Manual Cross Tab Report

I'll try this once more. I have a manual crosstab report.

I am trying to create a column that will total the first 5 elements in a row.

For example:

row 1 2.0 4.5 5.5 1.2 2.3 XXX

I need XXX to equal the total of elements 1-5

Thanks!

What have you already tried? I'd have thought you'd get it with a formula field that totaled the elements.

Please explain what your group field is and what your column field is, and whether your manual crosstab "row" is at the detail or group level.
