Hi All,
Just wondering if you can help me out with a problem I'm having.
I have created a linked server to a DB2 database. One query that I have been running returns a maximum of 234 rows, when I am expecting in excess of 3 million.
The query seems ok to me, but my colleagues seem to think there could be something wrong with our use of 'openquery'.
Other queries work fine. My colleagues have also created another linked query using OLE - this one returns the correct number of rows, but with text fields returned as hex!
Can anybody help me to understand why I am returning only 234 rows? I have checked on the properties of the linked server and see no hints. My query is as follows:
[tt]select * from openquery (JDE, 'select * from s101798d.a62prddta.mra_view')[/tt]
